UH-Clear Lake Welcoming Future Freshmen

After more than 30 years of recruiting juniors, seniors and graduate students, University of Houston-Clear Lake will host its first freshman information session Saturday, Feb. 2, 9 a.m. – 1 p.m., at the university, 2700 Bay Area Blvd., Houston.

“We’re thrilled to have the first future freshmen on campus to learn more about the educational opportunities and activities available at UH-Clear Lake,” says UH-Clear Lake Assistant Director of Admissions Lori Lopez. “This event will certainly help the students understand why the choice is clear for continuing their educational journey at UH-Clear Lake.”

During the event, students will tour the university and University Forest Apartments; learn more about the student organizations on campus; and speak with current students, academic advisers and financial aid representatives. Snacks will be provided.

“This is an historic event at UH-Clear Lake,” adds Lopez. “We’re sure all the students attending will discover why becoming a UH-Clear Lake Hawk is the right choice for them.”
