Come take a tour with us through Oasis Salon & MediSpa. Located in the heart of Clear Lake, you will be transported to a world that offers the full spa treatment from all-day packages to individual lunch time treatments, whatever your beauty need du jour. Oasis celebrates their one year anniversary this month with special pricing on many of their spa treatments.

Owners Missy Adam, Spa Director and Todd W. Adam, MD, F.A.C.S., Medical Director, realized the need for a full service salon and medical spa after experiencing the success of the medical skin care portion of Dr. Adam’s private practice, at Coastal Plastic Surgery, located in the same office building complex.  When office space became available nearby, they birthed their dream to open a destination spa that encompasses everything from luxury spa treatments to medical skin care and hair and nail salons.

Welcome Area

Upon entering the salon, you will be greeted by their friendly, stylishly up-to-date staff in a warm environment with a comfortable seating area.  The Tuscan themed décor instantly sets the tone for our tour, as Oasis is indeed, an oasis.  Designed by Missy and Dr. Adam, the luxurious feel of Tuscan travertine and dark wood styled floors with textured warm-hued walls beckon you to come inside and be beautified.  A jewelry boutique is adjacent to the desk, to provide you with a last minute gift for someone, maybe even yourself.  Oasis offers health and beauty treatments for both men and women.

Hair Salon

The full service hair salon can best be described by, “What don’t they do?”  Managed by Christie, you can find your new favorite stylist for cut, color, or highlights.  Additionally, they book individuals and groups for styling and updos for events such as weddings, proms, formals, or a special date night.  Keratin conditioning treatments, permanents, feather and tinsel weaving, and hair extensions are some of the unique hair services offered.

Makeup

As part of your spa experience, you can have your makeup touched up, or schedule a full makeup or makeover appointment for a special event.  Lash extensions are a favorite new makeup option.

Nail Salon

Picture yourself and five of your friends sitting in the nail salon, getting pampered at the same time.  With three pedicure spa chairs and three manicure stations, you can have your own champagne party.  If your group wants the full mani-pedi experience, when your service is done, just switch.  Nail technicians Marla and Naomi have over 30 years’ experience in nail care between them, and have a loyal Bay Area Houston following.

Medical Skin Care

Private rooms are available for the varied services offered by Dr. Adam and his highly trained medical staff which includes RNs Heidi and Jennifer.  Multiple laser treatments are offered, and the staff will help determine which one is right for each individual.  Botox and fillers are also state of the art options provided by Oasis.  Cool Sculpting is a new body sculpting procedure that actually freezes fat and allows the body to metabolize it.  Another new procedure is Clear & Brilliant, which you can have done on your lunch hour and go straight back to work.  “Clear & Brilliant is a series of treatments that is optimal for the beginning signs of fine lines and aging,” says Missy.

Luxury Spa Treatments

Luxury Spa Treatments include a variety of massage, body, and facial options such as waxing, microdermabrasion, peels, wraps, tanning, and more.  The women’s dressing area is well appointed with lockers, showers and plenty of sumptuous counter space and mirrors.  There is a tiled Whirlpool and dry sauna for complementary use for spa guests.  Additionally, there is a men’s dressing area that includes a multi-jet shower.

Weight Loss

Private consulting rooms are offered for clients whose goal is to lose weight and approach being their more healthful self through the Oasis’s Center for Medical Weight Loss (CMWL).  The program includes three phases:  Quick Start, Transition, and Maintenance.  Within each phase there are four basic areas:  food, exercise, behavioral counseling and prescription medication.  Dr. Adam evaluates each patient as an individual, so your plan will be tailored to you, taking into consideration your health, activity level, motivational characteristics, and goals.

Staff
