CCISD named among Top Workplaces in Houston

For the second year in a row, Clear Creek School District employees gave the District an “A” for creating a positive working environment. The Houston Chronicle ranked CCISD 18 out of 150 top places to work in Houston.

The ranking is determined based on completed surveys from employees.

“This distict’s success is reflective of the strength and talent of our workforce. This recognition is certainly humbling since the judges are our employees. We will continue to work together to create a better future for children. Who wouldn’t want to be a part of something this important?,” said Greg Smith, Superintendent of Schools. “Employees also indicated areas where we can improve, and we will improve.”

The Workplace Dynamics survey consisted of questions regarding organization direction and execution, connections with peers and supervisors, pay and benefits, and overall job satisfaction. The survey included open-ended responses from employees.

One employee stated, “We hold true to our core values. Our core values drive everything we do.” When a question was asked about district leadership, an employee responded, “They balance teachers needs with students needs, some districts forget about the teaching end, this one does not.”
