Camp out with Space Center Houston

Astronaut Greg Johnson

Grab your camping gear and head to the backyard because the night sky is calling us to camp out. During this unique time, Space Center Houston will host a Virtual Campout 6:30 p.m. CT Sept. 12.

Hear from NASA astronaut Greg Johnson as he shares his mission experiences. Build a reusable rocket booster and impact craters. Enjoy a planetarium show. Make science come to life through the wonders of space exploration. Set up your tents and share photos on social media using the hashtag #SpaceCenterHOU

Ordinarily, Space Center Houston’s Campouts are paid programs. The nonprofit is making science learning accessible without price being a barrier during the COVID-19 crisis. As a result, this Virtual Campout is open to anyone who would like to participate. At registration, pay whatever you are comfortable paying. Register now at spacecenter.org/virtual-campout.
