With support from the community, local businesses and the City of Seabrook, the Bay Area Veterans Memorial has been completed. The public is invited to attend the dedication on Saturday, May 25 at 1106 Second Street in Seabrook.  The ceremony will begin at 1 p.m.

Jenny and Bruce Arunyon were the driving force behind the memorial. Their dedication to this project has brought it to fruition. Bruce and Jenny said they want to thank everyone who contributed to making their vision come true — especially the City of Seabrook for donating the land for the memorial.

The city’s donation provides a beautiful setting for the public to visit and honor all those who fought and served the United States of America.

The festivities at the dedication will include the unveiling of the bronze Fallen Soldier Sculpture.  Other activities include a bagpipe performance, food, music, speakers and a display of military vehicles.

The community and especially veterans are invited to attend and enjoy this historic event.

Volunteers who would like to help with the dedication should contact Jenny Arunyon at [email protected]
